Beautiful and uplifting Sabbath in Bucharest

  • Women’s Prayer Day

At the Labirint Church in Bucharest, Romania, spring began with joy in our hearts, through a special Sabbath dedicated to the International Women’s Prayer Day. It was a day full of grace, in which we drew closer to God through the Word of God, music, poetry, and life testimonies that touched everyone’s hearts. The special guest for this Sabbath was Dr. Eliza Spătărelu, director of the Women’s Ministries Department of the Muntenia Conference, who brought us a profound and hopeful message. The question “What does God do with our tears?” found its answer in a comforting truth: God transforms the tears brought before Him into something greater than our pain.

During the whole day, several choirs blessed us with uplifting music, transporting us into a heavenly atmosphere. The central message challenged us to reflect: what can a woman do in God’s work? When she serves with joy, she becomes a living presence of love, initiative, and balance—capable of leading, supporting, mediating, and giving from the heart.

At the conclusion of the program, each lady and young woman received a “floral rainbow as a token of appreciation, a sweet surprise, accompanied by a verse from Psalm 45:13, a symbol of the value and beauty of the soul.

The afternoon continued in a warm, family-like atmosphere, where guests Nicoleta Neacșu and Ana-Maria Neagu emotionally shared personal experiences from their journey with God. Further musical moments and poems brought an added touch of sensitivity and joy.

The Sabbath concluded with a fellowship meal, where hearts remained united in gratitude and peace.
