  • Women’s Ministries Event in the Muntenia Conference, Romania

On Sabbath, June 6, 2026, the Adventus University campus in Cernica became a venue for hundreds of women to gather for a day dedicated to faith, fellowship, and rediscovering the meaning of life. Organized by the Women’s Ministries Department of the Muntenia Conference, the “Live with SENSitivity” Festival brought together over 500 participants from Adventist communities across the Conference, offering them a space for encouragement, reflection, and spiritual growth.

From the very beginning of the gathering, the atmosphere was marked by the joy of reunion, worship, and prayer. Music, devotional moments, and fellowship created the perfect setting for a day in which each participant was invited to look beyond the fast pace of life and rediscover the beauty of an authentic relationship with God.

The festival’s theme highlighted sensitivity not as a sign of fragility, but as an expression of spiritual maturity, compassion, and a willingness to respond to God’s call. The messages throughout the day emphasized that a heart sensitive to God’s voice can become a source of hope and blessing for those around us.

Representatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church present at the event expressed their appreciation for women’s involvement in the spiritual and missionary life of local churches, emphasizing the essential role they play in serving the communities to which they belong.

A special moment was the premiere of the hymn “I Want to Live,” a composition that conveyed a message of dedication, hope, and trust in God. The lyrics and performance moved the audience and became one of the defining moments of the entire day.

The festival’s keynote speaker, Elida Oncea, director of the Women’s Ministries Department of the Austrian Union, shared her personal testimony titled “My Story with God.” With sincerity and sensitivity, she spoke about how God continues to guide, transform, and restore hope to those who entrust their lives to Him. Her testimony was received with great emotion and brought encouragement to many participants.

The afternoon program continued with thematic seminars focused on personal identity, relationships, spiritual healing, authenticity, and discovering one’s calling. Each presentation offered practical and biblical perspectives, encouraging women to live out their faith with responsibility and joy in their families, in the church, and in society.

During the plenary session, representatives from various regions of the Muntenia Conference presented missionary projects and shared experiences from their communities. The diversity of the initiatives and the involvement of volunteers highlighted a vibrant and dynamic ministry, carried out with dedication in support of local people and communities.

The festival concluded in an atmosphere of gratitude and dedication, through prayer and song. Beyond the joy of reuniting, the participants returned home convinced that God continues to call every woman to a life lived with purpose, sensitivity, and a willingness to serve.

More than just an event, “Live with SENSitivity” was an invitation to inner transformation and to a faith expressed through love, compassion, and involvement. And the message that accompanied the entire day remains relevant for each of the participants: God can transform a sensitive heart into a light that brings hope to the place where He has placed it.
