  • Women’s Weekend Program in Bucharest

On June 20-22, the Women's Ministries Department of the Balta Albă Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bucharest organized a special program entitled “Daughter of the Lord, Mother in Israel.”
The program began on Friday evening with a presentation on the theme “The Joy of Serving”. Seven sisters shared personal experiences from their lives of service in the family, church, and society, giving a living testimony of the involvement of women of faith in the Lord's work.
On Sabbath morning, the devotional was given by Alina Badea, and during the divine service, the main theme of the meeting was presented: “Daughter of the Lord, Mother in Israel”. Seven sisters spoke on the role of women in ministry, drawing inspiration from the book “The Adventist Home” by Ellen G. White. At the end of this moment, each participant received a certificate of participation as a token of appreciation and encouragement. Also, Pastor Claudiu Goran said a prayer of blessing for all those present at the worship service.
The afternoon continued with the second part of the theme “The Joy of Serving”, during which impressive testimonies of involvement in serving one's neighbor were presented. The impact of these stories was profound, touching the hearts of those present.
Thank God for these occasions of blessed fellowship and spiritual strengthening through His Word!
According to a report by Elena Petrescu, program coordinator and responsible for Women's Ministries, Balta Albă Church, Bucharest, Romania.
