On Friday, October 8, thirty women arrived at the Bergheim Mühlenrahmede to experience a long-awaited women's weekend. You could feel right away that the women had missed seeing each other and getting together for meetings very much.
The speaker was Olga Scharf. With her chosen topic: "Change through Forgiveness" she had us all on board very quickly and probably there was not a single participant for whom the topic was "not a topic".
Forgiveness is not easy for everyone. Depending on the severity of the offense to be forgiven, it can be a very lengthy process. But if we are willing to forgive with God's help, we will feel afterward how a heavy burden is lifted from us and hopefully also from our counterpart. If then a harmonious connection can again be restored, so much the better!
As in the old days, the participants enjoyed delicious food and that was always ready when needed and they are looking forward to the next retreat.
