Exit Bünsdorf. It is great to see the rapeseed fields that announce that I will soon reach my destination. For almost 30 years, women from the Hanse conference in Germany have been meeting at Lake Wittensee for a time out, a time of encounters, sharing, praising, and thanking God together.
With Ulrike Kindel from Rostock, we reflected on the text: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
Many of us have our burdens to carry, but together this weekend it was easy. The theme and the fellowship melted into each other. A quote that summarizes everything is: “Gratitude does not see other things, but sees things differently.”
