May 28, 2016 was a special occasion, a special Sabbath for women. The main theme of the meetings was “Old Virtues for a Modern Age” and the topics were presented by Denise Hochstrasser, Women’s Ministries Director of the EUD. She encouraged us to be “Eshet Chayil” according to Proverbs 31 - to be strong and courageous women. We are so thankful that Denise was able to be with us and inspire us to read Proverb 31 from a different perspective, with the view of God and His view of us. I am sure that each woman (from 14 to 72 years old) was excited, filled and encouraged so that all were blessed by our God. We are blessed, dear sisters that the “little” we can do is enough for Him and with that He makes miracles. The ladies enjoyed the time during breaks and they were laughing, sometimes crying, but so happy to be together. We are very glad that God’s Spirit touched each woman’s heart during the meetings which were held in a recently constructed modern cinema. Thanks be to God for this day!
