43 women gathered to hear Elí Diez-Prida speak on the topic of the importance of words during a Women’s Ministries retreat of the Bavarian conference from November 10-12, 2017, in Allgäu-Weite. In an open atmosphere with lots of fun we were able to gather impulses for our daily lives.
Words are important and yet they do not suffice to make us understand each other. Already in the garden of Eden, when God asked Adam where he was, the communication showed a deeper relational problem of trust.
We can ask for God’s loving words of truth, hearing and trusting what he says. We can leave our burdens at Jesus’ feet, receive his healing resurrecting power and enjoy liberating communication. God heals our hearts and connects us to him. When we remain connected to him, God can speak healing words in and through us, making them a balm for our souls.
