Women's Prayer Meetings in Italy

The Women’s Ministries International Day of Prayer (IDOP) was celebrated in a number of Adventist churches in Italy. The women preached the precious message “I will go”. The Adventist churches are open on Saturday morning for worship, but nearly all of them cannot be open on Saturday afternoon nor during the week because of the Covid restrictions. So we will hold the IDOP seminar “Teach us to pray” online on Friday evening, March 19, at 8 pm, on hopemedia.it.
World Day of Prayer
Every year, the first Friday of March is the World Day of Prayer for Christian women. It is a prayer meeting held in many Italian towns. This year, due to the pandemic, there was a national online celebration on Sunday March 7. Every Christian denomination - Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Adventist, Waldensian, Reformed, Pentecostal - had a space. As Women’s Ministries, we participated with the reading of a story of the worship service booklet. The Vanuatu women prepared the booklet this year. The WDP Zoom meeting was good and well done. The video of the Vanuatu Women's Water Song was really inspiring.
