  • Women's Ministries Team Meeting in Freudenstadt, Germany

The Baden-Wuerttemberg Women's Ministries Team met for the first time under the new leadership of Jasmin Stanoschefsky in Freudenstadt for a weekend advisory from 15-17.04.2016. Reports of what is being done in the local churches were shared as examples of what it means to be the light of the world. Lots of new plans and initiatives were discussed during these days, but Bible study and prayer were not neglected. Implementing the Jethro principle, the churches of the conference were divided into regions for which the various team members would be directly responsible. Thus each team member would be in charge of contacting the local WM groups and pastors, collecting news and reports of the activities. They would also inform the local leaders of events and new material. This would create a women's network within the church. It was also decided to translate the WM outreach postcards to be used for motivating evangelistic action in the local church groups. Many more good ideas were developed and the weekend closed with the topic "Wishes and Vision" where all were able to tell about their dreams for Women's Ministries. We will be looking forward to many more new developments.
