WOMEN'S MINISTRIES RETREAT IN NORTHERN TENERIFE

From June7-9, the church of Tenerife Norte organized a retreat for the women of the whole area.
It was a joy for a group of forty women to spend time together. They are united with a common goal, as they desire to work for God. The motto of our retreat was "Woman of Virtue" based on the text of Proverbs 31:30. There were moments of prayer and camaraderie, and at the same time they enjoyed the themes presented by Amalia Reta, the Women’s Ministries Director for the Spanish Union. Pastor Maicer Romero presented a highly interesting topic "Machismo and inequality in biblical texts”. And as the icing on the cake Sary Hernandez presented two exceptional themes "Brave and courageous" and "Transformed and powerful".
Thanks be to God for privilege of being able to carry out this meeting. Meetings like these are an enrichment and help to foster the need to work together in this ministry.
