At the end of February the Funchal SDA church had the joy of hosting meetings with Denise Hochstrasser, EUD Women's Ministries Director and Milù Cordeiro, Women's Ministries Director for the Portuguese Union of Churches. This special weekend consisted of a meeting on Friday night, a Sabbath morning service and afternoon meeting. The women were led to understand the importance of unity when serving the Lord. Much joy and gratitude to the Lord was expressed for the blessed weekend and the meetings closed with renderings of the Funchal women's choir.
