  • Women's Ministries Leadership Seminar in Sicily

From November 10-12, 2017, a fine group of women from all over Sicily met in Vallegrande to finish the 4th level seminars. It has been a great goal indeed! The seminars held in Tuscany and Sicily helped our sisters to acquire skills, knowledge and self-esteem.
Now we are proud to say that some thirty women will receive the Certificate from Andrews University. And they want to continue training! We are planning to propose Level Plus in the future. Pray for the women in Italy, pray for the women they are sustaining, sharing the Bible, giving hope and love. We need your support through your prayers.
Reported by Franca Zucca, director of WM at the Italian UnionImpressions of a participant at the end of the seminar: Smiles, hugs and tears of joy… we were grateful to God for this weekend spent in Vallegrande. We were filled with spiritual emotions and notions. A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers. Jesus Christ is our leader par excellence, our guide, brother, chief, friend and servant, and as Christ did, we must have the ability to communicate, collaborate, love and help others. A leader must have empathy for others and the ability to get the best from each one. God did not make any difference and called women like Miriam, Deborah, Michal, Priscilla and many others; they were mentors for other women. There were also moments of hilarity with much laughter. Thanks to everyone for the collaboration. May God bless all.
Maria D’Amico Bastari, director of WM at the SDA Church in Lentini (Siracusa)
