30 women representing 14 nationalities attended the training session in Villa Aurora, Florence, from September 29 to October 1, 2017, under the leadership of Franca Zucca, Women’s Ministries director for the Italian Union. All topics of this level are centered around leadership and mentoring and were presented by Maria Fortuna, an experienced teacher; Abigaela Trofin, a devoted pastor and WM leader in northern Italy; Mirela Pascu, a psychologist and psychotherapist and teacher in Villa Aurora Institute; Santa Abiusi, WM leader for Southern Italy; Giusy Catalano, Franca Zucca and Denise Hochstrasser, WM director for the EUD. This training seminar is intended to equip women for success in leadership as they look to Christ as their role model and learn to be mentors for other women. The inspiring atmosphere of these seminars accompany the women as they go back to their local churches as active leaders.
