During a special weekend, the Adventist Church in Ibiza hosted a Women's Ministries event that included a visit by Mercedes Martínez, Women’s Ministries director for the Spanish Union, who presented materials for Women's Ministries Emphasis Day.
Through a variety of topics and biblical reflections, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the important role God has given women throughout sacred history. The presentations highlighted how valuable details in Scripture often go unnoticed, yet they enrich our understanding of God's plan.
Special attention was given to women of faith such as Abigail, Deborah, Hannah, and Dorcas, whose testimonies continue to inspire believers today. Participants also reflected on virtues such as wisdom, humility, empathy, faith, and prudence, emphasizing the importance of reflecting the character of Christ in everyday life.
The program also included special moments for both children and adults, highlighting the importance of trusting in God, recognizing His guidance, and understanding that He continues to work in every life according to His will. The atmosphere throughout the event was marked by gratitude, learning, and spiritual fellowship. To conclude the program, the women shared breakfast in a spirit of unity and friendship, reaffirming their desire to put the lessons they had learned into practice.
“Love yourself, take care of yourself, and allow God to transform your heart so that you can better love and serve others.”
