Now that the General Conference Session is over, women have to start looking forward to better times. Many delegates were disappointed that women were almost completely overlooked in the election process. Maybe in another three years there will be the possibility of progress for women's participation and representation. Holding fast to old traditions, like male dominance, is not what a vibrant church needs.
At least the session was an occasion to meet old friends and make new contacts.
Have a look at the wonderful women who were in St. Louis and pray that God may bless all the women who are faithfully serving God around the world.
