Please join us in a congratulating and welcoming Omobonike Adeola Sessou (until now West-Central Africa Division Women's Ministries) to the General Conference Women’s Ministries Department!
Omobonike is our newly elected Associate Director! Omobonike Adeola Sessou has held the position of Director of Children’s and Women’s Ministries at the West-Central Africa Division since 2010. She is married to Pastor Sessou Kwasi Selom and their union is blessed with four children. She was born in Nigeria on March 20, 1979.
She has a MA in Leadership and a PhD in Organizational Leadership. She has authored a book titled “Lord Makes Me a Virtuous Woman” and Co-authors the Women’s Devotional books for WAD and GC Women’s Ministries. Her passion is to inspire women to attain into leadership by using their God-giving capacities to support the church and their community. She loves preaching, teaching, counseling, and mentoring young people. She enjoys ministering to women and engaging in prayer ministry. Her favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 41:10 and her favorite words are “fear not”.
