The Women’s Ministries Group in Ticino, Switzerland, met on June 25 in Locarno. Bernadette Fogliani spoke in her devotional about the importance of prayer as a spiritual weapon. The group now hopes to continue the work successfully with the support of a prayer group. A new leader for the prayer group was elected.
The women will meet once every 6 to 8 weeks in the various churches of the district, depending on which programs will be offered. The ladies now have the occasion to use the summer as a think tank, gathering ideas and topics they are interested in. The meetings will be held on Sabbath afternoons, reserving special and bigger topics for Sundays. The meeting ended with a tea-time.
