  • Women's Ministries Activities in Bulgaria

The Women’s Ministries Department in Bulgaria is busy with many projects. The team adopted a plan to distribute the different activities. The team has bimonthly meetings to discuss the implemented tasks. The team visits various churches and presents seminars on relationships and anger management. They are also busy organizing the Third National Congress Borovets 2016 with participation from the Balkan countries Greece and Macedonia. In addition they are developing a team for the implementation of "Gentle and Strong" (Girls of Christ) Project. A congress for Roma Women will be held in July. The international day of prayer was organized in many churches in interesting ways. International Women’s Day on March 8 is an important celebration in Bulgaria and the Women’s Ministries Department prepared greeting cards which were distributed in offices, banks, municipalities, schools, shops, governmental offices, in parks where elderly people rested, in old people’s homes, among housewives, fellow citizens in towns and villages. A total of 18,000 cards were distributed.
According to a report by Ivalina Ilieva for the WM team in Bulgaria
