The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rome Lungotevere observed the Women's Ministries Day dedicated to prayer on Sabbath, March 2. This year's theme is "Ignite Your Prayer Life." Reflecting on and examining the state of our prayer life, we shared some texts of Scripture and quotes from Ellen G. White with the community who felt refreshed.
A lamp placed in the pulpit helped us to reflect on whether our prayer life is "on" or "off"; while a small light reminded us that alone we cannot attract the world that is still deprived of our wonderful hope. To do this, we need to shine in unison, and this is possible through a change of heart and forgiveness. All this is accomplished only if our prayer life is aglow.
We ended the morning promising ourselves to pray with constancy and taking a small souvenir: a candle as a reminder.
