  • Women's Breakfast in Oldenburg, Germany

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the women's annual breakfast took place at the Oldenburg Adventist Church. We were pleased to welcome Conny Warning as our speaker, this time on the topic of “Gratitude, a mature attitude.” After a devotional, a song, and a prayer, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet. Forty-five women had come to this meeting and had brought all kinds of delicacies. After a good chat during the breakfast buffet, Conny Warning addressed her topic. It is always a great pleasure to hear Conny's personal stories and to reflect on what gratitude is: a feeling — an inner sense of appreciation. In summary, gratitude means recognizing the good, appreciating it, and responding in a positive way — whether through words, gestures, or an inner attitude. Conny also gave us a Bible verse to take with us from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." It was another successful women's breakfast with many wonderful conversations, good fellowship, togetherness, a very delicious meal, and spiritual refreshment.
We are already looking forward to the next women's breakfast with these wonderful and blessed moments in a beautiful atmosphere. We are grateful to all the deacons and helpers, guests, and women who made this women's breakfast another special morning, and we offer a heartfelt thank you to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for these shared experiences and encounters.
