On December 4, 2022, 17 women from 5 different countries came to spend a Sunday morning at a women’s breakfast. Place settings had already been prepared a few days in advance under the guidance of a very creative kindergarten teacher.
On Sunday, fortified with food from Romania, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ukraine, and Austria, good conversations were guaranteed. A dear elderly lady in the church who rarely had the opportunity to attend church events because her husband was not a believer recently became a widow. She was now very grateful to be able to spend this time with sisters from the church and enjoyed the fellowship. It was also an occasion to get to know our Ukrainian sisters better and learn something about their life and the church in Kyiv.
The Bible study time concentrated on the topic "peace" and the small groups looked at Bible texts about peace.
The motto for such breakfast meetings is: Eating together - growing together - studying the Bible together. Thanks be to God for this blessed time.
