How can a woman bring hope wherever she is? Through faith, through a willingness to serve, and through acts of love that can change the lives of those around her. This calling was at the heart of the Women’s Ministries (WM) Convention of the Moldova Conference, held in Coșna, in Țara Dornelor, Suceava County, under the theme “Bloom Where God Has Called You” on the last weekend of September 2026.
Over 60 women participated in a gathering dedicated to spiritual encouragement, mission training, and the joy of being together. The program invited them to view the places where they live, learn, work, and serve as spaces where God can work through them.
Spiritual and motivational presentations by Daniel Andrei, treasurer of the Moldova Conference, and Liliana Radu, WM director at the Union level, highlighted the value of every woman and the opportunity to respond to God’s call even in the midst of daily responsibilities. A sincere conversation, a visit, a prayer, or support offered at the right moment can open a heart to hope.
Personal experiences with God added depth to the gathering, offering testimonies of faith and guidance. The ideas and activity proposals presented outlined concrete opportunities for involvement, encouraging the participants to turn the inspiration they received into initiatives for their churches and communities.
Prayer held a special place in the program. The prayer room provided a space for quiet, reflection, and closeness to God, and the prayers offered together strengthened the bonds among the participants. The materials provided complemented the presentations, serving as useful resources for exploring the ideas further and applying them after the conference concluded.
The music, coordinated by Andrei Lucaci, brought great joy and united the participants’ voices in praise. They sang from the heart, for the glory of God, and the musical moments accompanied and reinforced the spiritual messages of the gathering.
The joy of fellowship was also evident in the conversations around the tables, in the icebreaker games, and during the time spent around the campfire. The delicious and nourishing food complemented the welcoming atmosphere, in which new friendships were formed and existing ones were strengthened. The hugs, words of encouragement, and time spent with one another made this convention a deeply heartfelt gathering.
The hike through the Tinovul Mare Nature Reserve in Poiana Stampei added the joy of discovering nature to the program. The spectacular landscape offered a moment of rest and a chance to admire the beauty of God’s creation.
The Coșna Convention brought together learning, prayer, and friendship, keeping at its core a simple yet profound calling: to be available for God’s work wherever we are. To flourish where you are means letting your faith bear fruit in acts of love. And when every woman responds to God’s call, hope can spread further—from one heart to another, from one family to another, from the church to the community.
