On Sabbath, March 14, we had the joy of spending a truly special Sabbath with the brothers and sisters of the Speranța Church in Târgoviște in the Muntenia Conference, Romania. During the morning service, Elena Petrescu presented the message “The Cornerstone—the Family.” In the afternoon, the seminar “Women’s Involvement in Church Life” was a sincere invitation to dedication, service, and the rediscovery of the valuable role every woman plays in God’s work.
To encourage a deeper connection with God, prayer journals were prepared for the sisters, urging them to cultivate personal prayer as a source of spiritual growth and strength in missionary work. Additionally, each one received a greeting card accompanied by a poem dedicated to women, as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, openness, and a desire to get involved. God certainly touched souls and ignited a desire to serve more.
It was a blessed Sabbath, reminding us of how great the need is to be present, involved, and available in God’s work.
