On Sunday, October 23, 2022, in Salted Café Sofia, Nadejda Karkeleva , the WM leader of the GRACE church in Sofia organized a Charity Bazaar to support one particular family who lost their house during the floods in the village of Bogdan. At the bazaar, shoppers were able to choose from over 500 pieces of women's clothing and accessories of good quality. They were invited to have a coffee at the Salted Café, find some bargains for their outfits, and support people in need.
The family will receive support from various organizations and individuals to secure a home. The amount that will be raised at the bazaar will be used to meet some emergency needs for the upcoming winter season. At the same time, Motif prints with photos from Nepal, Palestine, and Morocco were sold. The amount collected was 1900 BGN.
The café is situated in central Sofia, Bulgaria, and provides space for events and encounters as well as courses. Staffed by Adventists, Salted Café is a center of influence in Sofia.
