The Balta Alba Adventist church organized the Women's Ministries (WM) Department program on November 22-23. Within the project "Prevention of Domestic Violence", specific themes were presented at all divine services: on Friday evening the theme "Positive Interpersonal Relationships" was presented. The 13 sisters spoke about affection, understanding, politeness, forgiveness, the power of love, the golden rule, sensitivity, empathy, and the power of love.
On Sabbath at the morning devotional, the couple Mihaela and Costin Cristescu spoke about the role of the prayer altar in our families. Prayer brings us closer to each other and together to God.
The noon divine service had the theme "When There is Harmony in the Home". Five couples identified ten attitudes that partners can adopt to prevent domestic violence. Pastor Claudiu Goran together with his wife, Lavinia Goran, concluded the presentation by emphasizing the idea that fidelity in the couple is the key to harmony in the family. The church choir sang the hymn "Parents and Children". The WM leader, together with the team, presented all the women present in the hall with orange scarves, the emblem of the "Prevention of Domestic Violence" project. And because November 19 was "Men's Day", gloves were given to all the men as a token of appreciation and appreciation, stating that we are on our way together.
Sabbath afternoon's presentation was entitled "I Have a Friend". The five couples emphasized the idea that only families who have Jesus as their friend can successfully overcome the temptations of the evil one. When Jesus is present, honored, and loved in the family, the happiness of all members is guaranteed.
We thank the Lord for His help and guidance in organizing this event. Non-Adventists also attended all services.
