The Platform against gender-based violence of the Women’s Ministries Department of the Spanish Union has produced a series of short videos about gender-related violence. In these videos Sara Hernández Venencio, a specialist in promotion of gender equality and social integration as well as a vocational training teacher, seeks to help end violence in families and the relationships of couples. To start with, she defines what gender-based violence is and explains the various facets and forms of violence. The short informative videos are being posted on youtube under the title „El Amor no duele“ – Love does not hurt. Further episodes will be posted in the coming weeks and it will be interesting to see what topics will be taken up in this context.
