A new generation in the leadership of Children's Ministries.
Orathai Chureson was elected as the director of children’s ministries in 2022. Born and raised in Thailand, she served for eight years as the children’s and family ministries director for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, including one year as Ministerial Spouses Association coordinator.
Chureson holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction with a cognate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies in the Philippines. She has 14 years of teaching experience.
Nilde Itin, who worked for Women's Ministries for a short time, serves as Associate Director of Children's Ministries.
