Gianina Floricel, Director of the Women's Ministries Department of the Muntenia Conference was invited to the budget committee meeting of the Muntenia Conference and spoke to all those invited about abuse and prevention. She pointed out that we as Seventh-day Adventists count on God's help to have families that are full of peace and harmony as they read the Bible and behave according to God's will. Still, it is necessary to educate ourselves to be prepared to know how to act, and offer help to people around us in situations of abuse. The booklet ‘Dynamics of Domestic Violence’ was also presented as useful material for such situations. Gianina has also been invited to give such a presentation at the pastoral meeting in December and the booklet will also be offered to pastors so that they can have this intervention guide at hand.
