On May 24, the “Pampering for a Woman’s Soul” gathering took place in the Petru Rares Adventist Church in Prahova, Romania, an event dedicated to women who wanted to enjoy a few hours of relaxation, encouragement, and fellowship in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Over 50 women chose to spend special moments together, with every part of the program carefully and lovingly prepared to bring light, peace, and joy to the participants’ hearts. Based on the idea that health means physical, mental, and spiritual balance, the activities aimed to address all these important aspects of a woman’s life.
The program included a spiritual segment titled “The Lord Is My Shepherd,” presented by Gianina Floricel; a presentation on the benefits of thyme led by Ligia Babii; and a presentation on projects and mission work for women, coordinated by Lili Radu. Participants learned how to make healthy ice cream during the workshop led by Violeta Modoran, while Naomi and Riana Călugăru brought creativity and good cheer through the “Let’s Decorate Our Summer Hats” workshop.
The vegetarian cuisine presented by Gianina Floricel (hummus recipe), the relaxing massage sessions offered by Lili Radu, and the children’s activity “My Little Bag,” coordinated by Violeta Peicu, rounded out the beauty of this gathering. The atmosphere was further enriched by the women’s choir—comprising Violeta Modoran, Ariela Pană, and Cristina Peicu—whose singing brought emotion and a sense of inner peace.
Behind the scenes, there was a discreet yet invaluable team—people who served with dedication, prepared every detail with love, and gave of their time and energy so that every woman present would feel appreciated and welcome.
At the end, many of the participants shared their feelings with emotion:
“It was such a relaxing gathering!”
“I came feeling sad, but I left with my heart full of joy!”
“Pampering for a Woman’s Soul” was more than just an event. It was a time of hope, of closeness, of spiritual healing, and of the beauty of being together.
