After the meetings in Geneva the Swiss-Romande and Tessin Conference organized another meeting for women of latin origin on August 28.
It was such a joy to listen again to Heather-Dawn Small of the General Conference on the topic “Companion, mother and woman.” A whole group of women from the Swiss-German Conference also attended the meetings. After the keynote message and a picnic the program continued with various workshops led by Heather-Dawn Small, Denise Hochstrasser, Marian Sanchez, Telma Witzig and Fabiana Bertotti.
The topics were:
Heather-Dawn : The place of women in the family
Fabiana : Cyberdependence
Telma : 1. Control your stress and pressure before it controls you. 2. Better alone than in bad company? Or the other way round?
Marian: Feel good and know your worth
Denise: A ministry for every woman.
Our thanks are due to these competent presenters. The day was closed with another message from Heather-Dawn Small, making it a wonderful and blessed day. We are confident that the Lord will help us share our faith and be witnesses to all around.
