  • “Lichtblicke Feste” – Rays of Hope Celebrations

The Rays of Hope Celebrations in the Emmerthal Church in Lower Saxony, Germany, are organized four times a year. We meet with 25-30 women in our church hall and share our personal experiences over a delicious meal. Strengthened by the food and conversations in small table groups—a very relaxed time in which relationships are built —we then listen with interest to the guest speaker.
This year, we had three speakers on different topics. Regina Nagel inspired us with the topic “Happiness Within You,” Claudia Siebert gifted us with the topic “From Black Sheep to Beloved Child,” and Kerstin Schenk told us her very personal life story under the topic “God Accompanies Life Changes.”
Every celebration inspires, touches, and strengthens us women in our personal life situations, whether it is on a weekday night or on a Sabbath afternoon. Friendships that have developed from these celebrations enrich our personal day to day lives. Grateful and enthusiastic feedback from our guests motivates us as a team for this work. Thus we feel God's blessing for all of us.
