The Sabbath of 9 March was a special one in Grant Church - Bucharest. Dedicated to the International Women's Day of Prayer, the Sabbath began on Friday evening when the sisters gathered with the community around the Word and prayer. It was also the occasion of handing over the baton to the Women's Mission Department, Sister Mihaela Ungureanu taking over the coordination of this department from Sister Dana Dragomir.
On Saturday morning, the devotional minutes were led by Sister Irina Toncu under whose guidance we prayed to the Lord. During the divine service, the children of the community sang to the mothers and sisters of the Church and then offered them flowers and other surprises, some prepared by them.
The afternoon continued with news about health brought by Sister Angela Berzescu and a seminar on the spiritual benefits of prayer given by Sister Oana Mortasipu.
It was another Sabbath at the feet of the Lord, full of blessings.
