On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, many women of our churches have created special events to invite friends, neighbors, women of other denominations, foreign women etc. For example, the Women’s Ministries in Tirano (Northern Italy) organized a meeting with a group of non- Adventist foreign women working in Italy who live far from their countries and families. These women talked about their difficulties, burdens, nostalgia… In return they received the comfort from the Word of God, friendship and a delicious snack.
The women in Milano-Baggio (Northern Italy) who are very busy, decided to spend the whole day relaxing in a SPA with their friends, enjoying healthy food and celebrating one of their birthdays.
The Women’s Ministries in the district of Rome wanted to organize something out of the ordinary. Some friends spent a couple of hours away from the noise of media, reflecting on the importance of physical and mental well-being (even watching some funny videos), singing and listening to beautiful arias sung by Immacolata, a new friend. The women were then offered a wonderful vegan buffet, health magazines and a souvenir of the evening: a nice glass jar containing the dry ingredients for vegan muffins.
