International Women's Day 2016

The 2016 theme for International Women's Day is "Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for gender equality".
International Women's Day is observed on March 8 around the world and focuses on gender equality, women's empowerment and human rights. Throughout history, women have made extraordinary contributions to their societies. Some are well known, others less so, but all have been trail blazers. It is now time for us to make an effort to help women achieve their full potential in whatever area they are gifted in and to ensure that future generations of girls and women experience equal possibilities in life.
