  • International Women’s Day of Prayer in Milan Baggio, Italy

On Sabbath, March 14, the Adventist church in Milan Baggio experienced a special moment of
fellowship and spirituality on the occasion of the International Day of Prayer (IDOP). It was a day filled with reflection, sharing, and spiritual encouragement, bringing together many women eager to strengthen their faith and their bonds with one another.
The theme chosen for the gathering, “God Turns Tears into Stars,” influenced the entire
Sabbath and called the participants to reflect on how even difficulties and moments of pain can be transformed by God into light, hope, and testimony.

The guest speaker for the occasion, Monica Carozzi, coordinator of Women’s Ministries for the
Adventist churches of northern Italy, preached on this very theme. In her address, she encouraged the women not to lose heart in the trials of life, but to trust in God, who can transform even tears into something precious and radiant. Her message offered practical insights for facing daily challenges with faith and confidence.

The church service was followed by an agape meal, a communal lunch. In the afternoon, there was a dynamic and engaging session featuring games and interactive activities related to the IDOP theme. Together, we were able to reflect on the importance of developing greater sensitivity and attentiveness toward those around us, particularly toward women. We recognized the value of listening, mutual support, and care in our relationships.
During the gathering, there were plenty of moments of sharing and thoughtful gestures. All participants received a small gift to commemorate this special day— a delicate mini-size hand cream, accompanied by a phrase of encouragement. The gift was intended as a symbol of care that they can to carry with them in their daily lives

IDOP in our church has thus proved to be a meaningful event, capable of uniting spirituality, friendship, and personal growth. It left a precious memory in the hearts of the participants and offered new inspiration for their daily journey.
