From June 7–10, 2026, nine women from the Herbolzheim Adventist Church in southern Germany embarked on a wonderful trip to Hamburg that will long remain in their memories.
Our lodging was a beautiful hotel that provided us with comfortable accommodation for four nights. Whether a double or a single room, each one was lovingly furnished and offered a pleasant atmosphere in which to unwind after our exciting explorations. It was especially nice to start each day with a short devotional, which filled us with peace and contemplation throughout the day. Every day, a group city tour was on the agenda, either by bus or on foot. During these tours, we discovered Hamburg’s diverse architecture, charming alleys, and interesting sights. A special highlight was the harbor cruise, during which we were able to experience the city’s maritime side up close. The bustle of the harbor, the huge container cranes, and the ships were impressive and strengthened our sense of community.
Despite the mixed weather, we always had a lot of fun and joy—the camaraderie, the laughter, and the moments we shared made those days unforgettable. For those who wanted to experience something different, there was, of course, also the opportunity to do so, which made the trip even more flexible and enjoyable. Traveling together like this is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, get to know each other better, and deepen our friendships. We have already visited several cities. Such experiences strengthen our bond and create precious memories; they’re also a great chance to bring friends along. We thank God for this blessed time!
