A new Girls4Christ generation came together from 10-12.11.2023 in the Kaub Youth Hostel to experience an unforgettable weekend together, full of warm fellowship and spiritual edification. The theme "Love defined. God's vision of love, relationships and being single" attracted 17 girls between the ages of 12 and 16 to the beautiful little town of Kaub on the Rhine.
A lovingly decorated group room awaited all participants with a candy bar for the "little hunger" in between. There was a lot of singing and often the girls themselves accompanied the selected songs on the piano and cello. Many new musical talents were discovered. Our speaker, Anastasia Haar, guided us through the entire weekend with her consecutive topics. She also told us about her life and shared her personal experiences with us.
We also enjoyed working in small groups. We reflected on the profound significance of marriage as an institution intended by God but also realized that the Bible recognizes singleness as a valuable way of life.
In an adjoining group room, participants were also able to craft to their heart's content, paint, stamp, and design to their heart's content. Even during their free time, some girls couldn't get enough of it. The colorful fingers testified to this.
New friendships were forged this weekend and we are looking forward to next year with great anticipation when we want to meet again.
