GIRLS4CHRIST MEETING IN BADEN-WUERTTEMBERG

"Jesus calms the Storm" was the motto of the online Girls4christ Christ meeting, which took place on November 8 in Baden- Württemberg. Thanks to Corona, there are many storms raging in the lives of our young girls at the moment - whether it is the new course of studies, which only take place on the sofa, unplanned quarantine experiences because classmates have tested positive or the pressure of social isolation. At first the girls had a lot to talk about...
After the general exchange we talked about the story in which Jesus calmed the storm and what, like Peter at that time, can pull us under the water or keep us on the surface: just looking to Jesus and trusting him, no matter how weak our faith may be. After the moving theme we played another round of "Black Story", which caused a lot of laughter. With the help of a short sentence, the participants have to guess the whole story, and it was not as easy as we thought, but very entertaining. At the very end we collected ideas for our next meeting in December. Baking cookies together via Zoom was just one of the many great ideas our girls brought to the table. We are curious if we can meet again in person in December.
