Heather-Dawn Small, GC Women's Ministries Director posted on the GCWM Facebook site: "We have 13 world divisions and we are blessed to meet with our sisters, once every five years to sit and share, plan, discuss, and learn from each other what God has done and is doing through our sisters around the world." On March 8, the International Women's Day, Heather-Dawn Small and Raquel Arrais, Associate Director, affirmed the women directors by giving a pin with the inscription "Making the Difference" to each leader.
During the week-long advisory the program includes many inspiring lectures and presentation of new materials as well as reports of activities in the various divisions. GC Vice-President Ella Simmons and Gilbert Cangy were among the speakers as well as Ardis Stenbakken, retired WM Director. The long-term effect of the inspiration from these meetings should not be under-estimated, when the leaders return to their fields.
