Healing to both body and soul
On Sunday, March 15, the event “For You, Ma’am!” took place—an event organized by the “Speranța” Adventist Church in Giurgiu, the Sola Scriptura Bookstore, and the Women’s Ministries Department, in partnership with the “Ion Vinea” Cultural Center. It was a heartfelt gathering where music, faith, and health information joined hands and embraced one another. The special program warmed the hearts of the audience, bringing healing to both body and soul through the health presentation, the songs performed, and the inspirational messages.
The special guests of the event were Dr. Daniela Székely (a pulmonologist) and musician Ștefan Székely, with many special music performances by musicians from the Adventist Church in the Giurgiu area. The inspirational message delivered by Rahela Tudorie reminded us of the need to find our identity in Christ. Cristina Dima, the event organizer, beautifully concluded that a woman who finds her strength and peace in God is happy.
Women Discover God Series
On Sunday, April 26, the “Sola Scriptura” Bookstore in Giurgiu hosted the event “For You, Ma’am!”, organized in collaboration with the Women’s Ministries Department and the Adventist churches in Giurgiu County.
The guest of honor at the first meeting in the “Women Discover God” series was Dr. Eliza Spătărelu, whose sensitivity and authenticity spoke even louder than words, offering the joy of knowing God as Father, Friend, and Brother.
In a fairy-tale setting, surrounded by books and enjoying hot tea and cookies, the guests let the melodies played on the harmonica by Beniamin Dima soothe their souls, reminding them that true peace is found only in God.
The hands-on workshop, eagerly anticipated since the previous event, was led by Monica Constantin, who offered tips and instructions on creating flowers from crepe paper, with each guest taking home their own handmade flower. The next event is planned for May 10
