With every change in leadership it is always a challenge to keep things going. With the recent election of Paulette Abati as Women’s Ministries Director for the Franco-Belgian Union, it was time for the women’s leadership team to come together for a weekend of consultations and planning on March 16 and 17. The Franco-Belgian Union consists of three conferences – Southern France, Northern France, and Belgium and Luxemburg. The regional WM directors, Diane Regis, Annick Delettre, and Yvonne Ajinca Briand joined Paulette Abati in Paris to get to know each other better, share ideas, goals and projects in their various areas as well as joint projects. The time spent together was a blessed and enriching experience that will enhance the work of the Women’s Ministries Department in the Union and Conferences to the profit of many women in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of the French-speaking people of Europe.
