March is a special month for women. The first Friday is the global women’s day of prayer. March 8 is Women’s Day around the world. On the first Sabbath in March all Adventist women are encouraged to organize church services and programs for women. It would be interesting to find out in how many churches women really are in charge of the full worship program on this day or on another Sabbath close to the date. We have received reports from the churches in Hamburg Barmbek, Tübingen and the International SDA Church in Hamburg as well as the church in Basel. Many women who have participated in the leadership certification program are leading out in their churches with special programs and activities. We thank God for the devoted women in our churches.
