  • A Women’s Breakfast in Kisdorf, Germany

A women’s breakfast offers not only a generous buffet and time for fellowship, but also informative and practical presentations. Women’s breakfasts are always something special. On Sunday, June 14, Ines and Karen invited women from the local community as well as from the Hanse conference to enjoy breakfast together, followed by a health-related presentation. As always in Kisdorf, the breakfast buffet was plentiful, thoughtfully prepared, and simply outstanding. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the participants enjoyed fellowship, made new connections, and engaged in interesting conversations.

Dr. Ulrike Evermann gave a presentation on the topic: “You Are What You Eat?” – What Nutrients Do I Need for Emotional Well-Being? Clearly and engagingly, she explained the connection between nutrition, brain function, and emotional well-being. Did you know that food cravings can be a sign of which nutrients your body may be lacking? Or that a well-functioning brain can contribute significantly to greater joy in life and emotional balance? Even the meaning behind the name EDEKA was explained in an interesting and informative way.

During and after the presentation, participants had the opportunity to ask questions. Dr. Evermann answered them with expertise, insight, and a wealth of professional knowledge. The presentation was fascinating, practical, and inspiring, leaving everyone eager to learn more about healthy nutrition and its effects on the body, mind, and spirit. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone involved in organizing this wonderful morning. We look forward to seeing you again very soon.
