From October 8 to 12, 2025, women from across Europe, America, and South Korea gathered in Budapest for an inspiring conference for Christian women in leadership under the motto: Growing in Courage and Competence. For five days, the Hungarian capital was the scene of intense encounters, lively discussions, and in-depth conversations about vocation, leadership, and the power of authentic community.
The program was packed with keynotes, workshops, panels, and times for exchange. But as is so often the case, it was the small moments between the program items that were particularly moving: a conversation over lunch, a spontaneous prayer group, shared laughter about cultural differences, or the quiet understanding in a one-on-one conversation that moves you more than many lectures.
Inspiration across borders
The diversity of perspectives was impressive: women from very different contexts shared how they live out their leadership and calling – in the church, business, education, or social engagement. These encounters opened up new horizons. Seeing how differently a calling can take shape was for many participants an encouraging mirror and at the same time an invitation to rethink their own perspective.
Reflection and renewal
In addition to intensive exchanges on content, the conference also provided space for silence and personal reflection. Many took the time to reflect on their own roles, priorities, and heartfelt concerns. Some spoke of wanting to refocus or take on responsibility more courageously. Others found confirmation that their path, however unique it may be, is exactly right. The intergenerational dialogue was particularly inspiring. Discovering what thoughts and questions move us regarding the ‘others’ was moving and continues to resonate.
A network that supports
What remains is not just a collection of notes or contacts, but a sense of connected strength. Women who inspire, encourage, and empower each other – across national and cultural boundaries. Budapest was more than a conference venue; it became a space where leadership was reimagined and community was lived out.
"It wasn't just a conference—it was a place where God touched hearts and broadened horizons."
