Since the start on June 10, 2025, of the Women’s Ministries Podcast in German, “Bauchgedanken und Kopfgefühl”, (Gut Thoughts and Head Feelings) Dany and Tina have faithfully posted a new episode every two weeks. Dany Canedo and Tina Tschage take you through the various challenges of life. In addition to expert theory, you also get practical tips for your life to make it easier, more relaxed, and more conscious. Feelings and emotions are part of our lives; they are important and valuable. It is time to discover their value and learn to use this positive power wisely—for ourselves and in our interactions with others.
For those who do not understand German, there is a transcript of the episodes that could be translated. And for those who do speak German and have not yet found the podcast, we would like to help you find out more about the content with this description of the episodes so far:
1. A question of balance: work-life balance, flexible working hours, downtime, life balance... it seems as if we have somehow lost touch with ourselves, life is out of balance. It feels as if we have lost control. In our first episode, we talk about the role that emotion and reason play in our everyday lives and what exactly lies behind them.
2. What do our emotions have to do with motivation? Why “Thanks, fine” is the wrong answer to the question of how you are doing. What are feelings anyway? How do they manifest themselves? And isn't it also good when our emotions sometimes take over?
3. Watch out! Who is the most important person in your life? Why mindfulness and self-love are more than just a fad or legitimate selfishness.
4. Just take a break! Coffee to go, sandwich in hand, online anytime, anywhere. We rush from one appointment to the next from morning to night, are available around the clock, and breaks are really only for the weak. Why are breaks viewed so negatively today? And why do we often find it so difficult to really relax?
5. The grass is greener... on the other side of the fence. Envy, jealousy, the feeling of missing out. Where it comes from, how it affects us. The question: isn't there another way? And what all this has to do with vacation photos.
6. Ouch! Dealing with injuries and hurt feelings. We hurt ourselves—physically, emotionally, and mentally. We hurt ourselves—or each other. Consciously or unconsciously. Not every injury leaves a scar, but some wounds never heal. Trigger warning—this episode also deals with various forms of trauma.
