From March 28 to 30, the third and last level of the Leadership Training for Women took place in central Portugal, in Costa de Lavos. The goal of this program is to enable women to develop their talents and find God’s plan for their lives, being a blessing wherever they are. The themes were about finances, impacting teens, preparing a good seminar, the worth of a woman, Jesus as a model of leadership and how to lead nowadays, women in Ellen White’s time, cultural sensitivity, and how to reach other communities, where women may have a special opportunity to bless. It was a blessing to have Dagmar Dorn, EUD WM Director, with us, always a source of encouragement and happiness for all women here.
Also special were the moments of collective prayer; the sharing of memorable songs from each country represented; the delicious food, masterfully prepared by Dulce Ross; the treats received; the moments together, and the exchange of experiences and perspectives. We were encouraged to continue working for the Master in reaching out, blessing, and motivating the women around us to develop their full potential in living out God's ideal for each one. The complete Training Cycle will be available on our YouTube channel and also on UPASD. These are resources so that everyone can, at their own pace, expand their faculties, as we are commanded in Luke 19:13 ESV , ‘Engage in business until I come.’
