Women's Weekend with Nancy Duske in Hanse Conference

Values as Signposts

Women's Weekend with Nancy Duske in Hanse Conference

On the last weekend in March, women from the Hanse Conference met in Hatten Sandkrug, Lower Saxony, Germany, to experience a time rich in relationships.
Nancy Duske made her topic “Values as Signposts” relevant to our everyday lives. Her personal experiences with this topic in relation to God enriched this time. An intensive, personal and appreciative exchange allowed us to grow together into a blessed community. Friendships were strengthened and new relationships formed.
Feedback is always a wonderful thing for the organizers and participants. Some takeaways:
“Lots of thoughts to put into practice, reflection, prayer as an everlasting reminder, fellowship/exchange/joy.”
“Women in different age groups can spend time together, sing, rejoice, pray, do handicrafts, be honest, show their feelings and if there is also spiritual food, it has another direction.”
“Once again I feel richly gifted and blessed. I was very touched by the very personal life stories, not only from Nancy. Especially the experiences of how God acts to care, heal, and change:”
“Many valuable impulses about letting go, distance and recovery, new momentum for everyday life, gratitude that so many women make so much effort to ensure that I and we women as a whole are doing so well in body, soul, and spirit:”
“I was touched that so many women gave an insight into their thoughts and feelings. I would like to thank Nancy for sharing her life with so much emotion, love, and authenticity and for encouraging us to live our values, to shape our lives together with God, and to make good things out of the broken pieces. Many thanks to the team for the design, the care, the many details that made the weekend a recharging weekend. Thank you.”
Everyone is looking forward to the time in November when we meet again to strengthen our relationship with each other and with God.”
