Women's Ministries Activities in Soria, Spain

Prayer Workshop: Gratitude, Personal, Family and Intercession

Women's Ministries Activities in Soria, Spain

Women's Ministries in Soria has held various activities to strengthen faith and community, including a fellowship meal, a prayer walk and a special event for International Women's Day. These initiatives have been well attended and have allowed for the sharing of messages of reflection and unity.
When she discovered Women’s Ministries, life for Elizabeth Ortiz became a new adventure with new experiences of which she would like to share the last three activities.
Fellowship Meal
The first event was linked to her roots. On February 27, Dominicans commemorated their independence from Haiti, so she invited friends to a fellowship meal at the church, with the purpose of remembering the legacy inscribed on the Dominican national coat of arms: “And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). The meeting was a great blessing, with 50 people in attendance, including 35 women who altruistically contributed food and participated in a brief reflection. In addition, Bibles, magazines and copies of Women in the Bible were distributed.
Prayer Walk
The second event was a Prayer Walk, as part of the International Day of Prayer celebrated on March 1. They started on February 27 and for nine consecutive days they visited the homes of Adventist families in Soria. In addition, every night they shared a reflection on integral health, addressing physical, mental and spiritual aspects in face-to-face and online modality. Thanks to God,  several friends participated in the talk and activity each day.
International Women's Day
The third event was in the context of International Women's Day celebrated on Saturday, March 8. They had an attendance of approximately 25 visitors on the Saturday morning theme. It was a joy to see so many new faces joining in the church service. As a welcome, a flower was presented to each woman. After a fellowship meal, in the afternoon, a prayer workshop divided into 4 sections - Gratitude, Personal, Family and Intercession – helped those present to remember God's protection and comfort in their lives.
